Northern harvest is one of the most exciting features of our year. Travelling to southern QLD and NSW gives our team the opportunity to work alongside the largest and most progressive farmers in Australia. After 6-8 weeks up north, our teams travel back to southwest Victoria to begin southern harvest, highlighting the contrast between multiple farming methods. Southern harvest generally finishes at the end of January.

Our tillage season commences in February, involving bed forming, deep ripping and speed tilling. Tillage leads into sowing, commencing in March/April. With our seeders running around the clock, it’s a busy but very rewarding time of year.  

During June – October, we spend the winter months in the shed pre-seasoning our headers, fronts, tractors, chaserbins, motherbins and trucks. Pre-season is an important time to learn and build on the mechanical knowledge each of our employees already have. We have people within our business just beginning their careers, whilst we have other mechanics who have lead our teams for over ten years, creating an environment that is extremely passionate and knowledgeable.

With our business’ continuous expansion, we’re looking for a number of people to join our team.

Team Leader: Someone who has excellent communication and people skills, looking to lead a team of 3-4 people throughout the year. Leading by example is an important aspect of the role, so having the passion and desire to succeed as a leader will be an important attribute for the role.

Operators: People who are passionate about operating and maintaining their machinery year-around and providing an unbeatable service to our clients.

Attractive hourly rates are offered, with additional amounts during harvest whilst working away from home. Accommodation is also provided.
